Abstract:

To provide an image processor and an image processing method, extracting a target even with a complicated background.

An image frame is divided into a plurality of divided frames, and threshold level SH is calculated for each divided frame according to an average value and standard deviation value, whereby binarizing each divided frame. According to this, the influence of background characteristics on target extraction can be reduced, and the target can be regularly extracted even if the background of the target is complicated.
