Abstract:
To reduce a charged amount for a user while making it possible to check plate shift in comparison with the case that in all pages, the same number of plates of a registration color is used.SOLUTION: An analysis information acquisition part 18 acquires analysis information including information showing the number of used plates per page with reference to header information on each page in PDL data from a job reception section 16 or description about a page content. A RIP control unit 20 delivers to a RIP processing part 22 RIP processing information including a file path of the PDL data, a page to be processed, information showing the number of used plates on a page to be processed on the basis of the analysis information, an instruction command of the RIP processing of the page to be processed and the like. The RIP processing part 22 generates raster data where color using all plates necessary for printing the page content of the page is made to be a registration color of the page on the basis of the information showing the number of used plates on the page to be processed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
