Abstract:
To lighten a load on a power supply at a time when a main power supply is turned on regarding an image processor.
When the main power supply is turned on, a power supply is started from a power supply section 5 to a printer controller 1, an engine control unit 2 and a plotter engine 3 in an interlocking with turning on of the main power supply. When a program on the printer controller 1 is started, the printer controller 1 controls an HDD power-supply control unit 6. The HDD power-supply control unit 6 starts the power supply from the power supply section 5 to an HDD 4 at a specified timing after turning on of the main power supply, the HDD 4 can be used and a printing by the plotter engine 3 is enabled in this case.
