Abstract:
To generate double-side printing image data having a proper density while preventing the occurrence of ink retransfer and paper jamming.
A selection signal is received by a density selection receiving part so as to select whether to apply density lowering processing to only one of the surfaces of two image data for double-side printing or to apply density lowering processing to both of the surfaces. The density lowering processing is applied to only one surface of the two image data or to both surfaces on the basis of the received selection signal.
