Title:
IMAGE PROCESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3713873
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of a longitudinal moire owing to reduction/ magnification by changing an initial value at every line, which is set in an adding means.
SOLUTION: A first register 21 stores magnified data according to a magnification rate or a reduction rate and a second register 22 stores initial value data. An adder 23 adds the contents of the first register 21 to the contents of the second one 22. A denying circuit 28 outputs a second shift signal and an ORing circuit 30 outputs the first shift signal. Image data stored in a first shift register 26 is compressed or extended in accordance with the combination of the number of shift times, based on the first shift signal with the number of the shift times based on the second signal, so as to be stored in the second shift register 27. When a processing is moved to the one in the succeeding line, the initial value of the second resister 22 is set to be a value different from that of the proceding line. Thus, the positions of an pixel to be inserted are alternately changed-over at every line.
