Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection device which has an excellent portability and can display an enlarged image easily and in good quality.SOLUTION: An image projection device comprises: a light source; an image display element which is illuminated by the light source; and a projection optical system which enlarges and projects an image formed in the image display element towards a projection target. The projection optical system has a dioptric system constituted of lenses and a reflection optical system which is provided with at least one reflection surface, and an image projected by the projection optical system has a different aspect ratio from the aspect ratio of the image display element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
