PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which an image projected onto a projection plane may be difficult to see depending on the state of light at the periphery of the projection plane.SOLUTION: An image projection system comprises a projection plane, image projection means that projects an image onto the projection plane, light receiving means that receives light from the periphery of the projection plane, and projection direction switching means that switches the direction of image projection by the image projection means according to the intensity of the light received by the light receiving means.
