Abstract:
To provide an image reading device that can perform image correction with high accuracy, an image forming apparatus, and an image forming system.SOLUTION: An image reading device comprises: a reading device 55 that reads a sheet; a backing 80 that is arranged opposite to the reading device and is formed with an opposite surface opposite to the reading device; and a switching control unit 111 that switches the color of the surface formed on the backing opposite to the reading device to any one of black and white on the basis of a moment at which the reading device reads the sheet. A formation range of a patch formed on the sheet is determined on the basis of a position of a nip that reduces looseness of the sheet within an allowable range, switching time required for the switching control unit to switch the color of the opposite surface to white, and a conveyance speed at which the sheet is conveyed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
