Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an original reader capable of managing that whether a book-original to be copied infringes the copyright thereof by the recognition and the counting operation of the book-original in a copying system side.
CONSTITUTION: The reading and scanning frequency of an image by an image read means (read sensor unit 9) or the outputting frequency of image information by an image information output means (main control board 310) when the original 92 of the book requiring the collection of copyright royalty is copied is counted by a counting means and the counted result by the counting means is stored and held in a counted result storage and hodling means (external RAM). Based on the counted value, the copyright royalty of the copied book- original 92 is managed.
