Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reader of split imaging tape, which is easy in the adjustment of a field angle in a read operation.
SOLUTION: One end of a suspending mechanism 2 is fixed to an image processing apparatus 6, and the other end is provided with a movable read head 1. Further, the suspending mechanism 2 has a flexible mechanism including horizontal rotary shafts 3, 4, and a vertical rotary axis 5. Moreover, the horizontal rotary shafts 3, 4 of the suspending mechanism 2 are provided with a turning detector to detect an angle of the movable read head 1. The image processing apparatus 6 applies geometrical correction to divided images on the basis of the angle data and distance data detected by an automatic focus matching mechanism equipped with the movable read head 1 and applies joining processing of the division images to obtain one read image.
