Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an image reader capable of improving working efficiency by rapidly and surely successively reading the image of each frame recorded on optical film, recording it on a recording medium and displaying the number of remaining frames that recording on the recording medium can be possible on a monitor.
CONSTITUTION: A recording means 42 records the image data of each frame obtained by successively reading plural images recorded on the optical film in frame units on the recording medium. A remaining frame number detecting means 4 detects the number of remaining frames that the data is recorded on the recording medium by the recording means 92. A display means 7 displays the remaining frames detected by the detecting means 4.
