Abstract:
To achieve a reduction in cost and size of an image reading apparatus with a configuration part generating heat by simplifying configuration for cooling the configuration part and disposing it in a space-saving manner, inside an apparatus body of the image reading apparatus.SOLUTION: A scanner 1 comprises: a second motor 22 driving a pair of conveyance rollers 16; and a second power transmission mechanism part 40 transmitting power from the second motor 22 to at least to the pair of conveyance rollers 16 by a plurality of gears meshing with one another. The second power transmission mechanism part 40 comprises a ninth transmission gear 45 and an eleventh transmission gear 48 as gears with blades having blade shapes and generating wind by rotating.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
