Abstract:
To evade the possible stacking deterioration of a manuscript at a loading unit.SOLUTION: A scanner 1 includes a reading unit 30, a reversing unit 34, an ejection unit 27, a loading unit 46 and a pressing unit 72. The front and back of a manuscript G is reversed by the reversing unit 34. The ejection unit 27 ejects the manuscript G having been reversed by the reversing unit 34 to a -A direction. On the loading unit 46, the manuscript G ejected by the ejection unit 27 is loaded. The pressing unit 72 presses the manuscript G onto the loading unit 46. The pressing unit 72 includes: a moving member 74 which is movable toward the loading unit 46; and an elastic member 89 which applies an elastic force to the moving member 74 so that the moving member 74 comes into contact with the manuscript G on the loading unit 46.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
