Abstract:
To reduce reading failure of an image of a sheet, in an image reading device for reading an image of a sheet on which an image has been formed by an image forming part.SOLUTION: An image reading device 102 includes: a first reading unit 113 and a second reading unit 116 for reading an image of a sheet; and outlet conveyance rollers 119, 120 for conveying the sheet. Furthermore, the image reading device 102 includes: a backing roller 115 opposing to a glass member 114; and a backing roller 118 opposing to a glass member 117. The peripheral velocity of the backing roller 115 is set to be faster than the peripheral velocity of the outlet conveyance rollers 119, 120.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
