Abstract:
To maintain alignment of a sheet by a swing member which can be easily changed in posture even in a narrow space.SOLUTION: A sheet discharging device comprises: discharge means for discharging a sheet; sheet loading parts (100 and 101) on which the sheet is loaded; a swing member (102) which has an abutting part (506) capable of coming into contact with the sheet, swings between a first position where the movement of the discharged sheet in the sheet discharge direction is restricted by the abutting part and a second position where the abutting part is moved downward relative to the first position, and swings around a swing axis located on an upstream side in the sheet discharge direction relative to the abutting part in a state in which it is in the second position; an engaged part (602) which is disposed on the sheet loading part; and an engaging part (510) which is disposed on a surface on the opposite side of the abutting part in the swing member and is configured so as to restrict swing of the swing member from the first position to the second position by being engaged with the engaged part in a state in which the swing member is in the first position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
