Abstract:
To provide an image receiving sheet which has at least an intermediate layer, an image receiving layer, and a resin layer provided in order on a substrate and exhibits high scratch resistance on its surface and in which the quality of a thermal transfer image formed on the image receiving layer is high.
The image receiving sheet has at least an intermediate layer 3, an image receiving layer 4, and a resin layer 5 provided in order on a substrate 2. The thickness of the resin layer 5 is 0.5-2 μm, and the surface strength of the resin layer 5 is 3×104 to 10×104 N/m2, both inclusive as measured by a microscratch method according to JIS R-3255.
