Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder for recording the image of a transmitted original, which is improved so that the utilization efficiency of light may be extremely high, the sufficient quantity of transmitted light can be made incident on the incident pupil of an image formation lens and the high-quality image where dust adhering to the transmitted original and the flaw of the original are inconspicuous can be recorded.
SOLUTION: In this image recorder, a light source is arranged to be deviated from the optical axis of the image formation lens, and the recorder is provided with a parallel beam member for changing at least a part of light emitted from the light source into parallel beams, a light reflector for reflecting light which is not made incident on the parallel beam member out of the light emitted from the light source to the center of the light source and a condensing lens or mirror condensing at least a part of the light reflected by the parallel beam member on the optical axis of the image formation lens.
