PURPOSE: To provide an image recorder for the vertical feeding of A-4 size, capable of both-side image recording so as to make the top and bottom of the image on the front and rear surfaces same.
CONSTITUTION: In the image recorder recording the image on both sides of a recording paper, a recording paper inverting device 104 for turning the recording paper by 180° around the center line of a recording paper width in the advancing direction of the recording paper is provided and when the recording paper is housed in the recording paper inverting device 104, a link 216 is rotated via a driving part (not shown by the figure) and a inverting plate 217 is rotated by 180°. Since the reverse plate 217 is rotated by 180° in this manner, the recording paper is also rotated by 180° and front face turns up.
