Title:
IMAGE RECORDING DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC STILL CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3647050
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To take a photograph during the transmission from a buffer to a final recording medium.
CONSTITUTION: An imaging device 14 converts an optical image into an electric signal. A recording processing circuit 20 performs the recording processing such as compression on the photographed picture. The picture information processed by the circuit 20 is recorded through a buffer memory 22 and interface 28 under the control of a memory control circuit 24 to a hard disk device 26. A system control circuit 30 permits the continuous photographing when the remaining amount of the memory 22 is more than V3 and permits a photographing when less than V1. The circuit 30 performs display, stops the continuous photographing, and reduce the continuous photographing speed when the remaining amount of the memory 22 is less than V2 (<V1). The V2 corresponds to at least the storage capacity of one picture information and the picture edition is performed with it.
