Abstract:
To suppress a sheet-like medium from being defectively fed due to operation of moving a feeding tray with respect to an enclosure.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a feeding tray 1 having a pair of return rollers 61 and 62; a moving mechanism 9 that moves the return roller 62 between a nip position and a release position; and a rotating mechanism that rotates the return roller 61 so that a roll paper Rp is conveyed in a direction in which the paper is backwound into a roll body, in tandem with movement of the feeding tray 1 from an inward position to an outward position. The moving mechanism 9 has a holder 91 supporting the return roller 62, a moving member 92 and an energizing member 93 that energizes the moving member 92 upward. The holder 91 turns by contacting the moving member 92 when the feeding tray 1 moves from the inward position to the outward position, so as to move the return roller 62 from the release position to the nip position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
