Abstract:
To enable a recording medium to be cut straight, after a jamming process is carried out.SOLUTION: A control part executes: a conveying process after jamming (S8) of conveying a sheet so that a front end of the sheet moves from an upstream side to a downstream side of an intermediate roller pair with respect to a conveying direction, after execution of a sheet-jamming process is sensed (S2); and a cutting process (S10) of making a cutting part 5 cut the sheet whose front end is moved to a position at the downstream side of the intermediate roller pair with respect to the conveying direction by the conveying process after jamming. When executing the conveying process after jamming, the control part does not execute a skew correcting process for controlling the conveying part so that the front end of the sheet contacts the intermediate roller pair, while preventing the intermediate roller pair from rotating in a normal rotation direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
