Title:
IMAGE RECORDING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6091370
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase the density of magnetic flux atop recording electrodes and obtain a fog-free image by providing a magnetic path means which directs magnetic flux from one magnetic pole surface of a recording magnet opposite to the other magnetic pole surface of the recording electrode array side to a recording medium.

CONSTITUTION: A recording electrode 8 is formed by arranging 3,360 pieces of 20μm diameter pure iron wires over ≤210mm in parallel and fixing them with an adhesive. The gap between the electrode 8 and recording medium is 75±25μm. When the recording medium to which toner sticks uniformly comes to the electrode 8, a 30V image signal voltage is applied to record an image with toner T. Magnetic plates 12a and 12b which are 1mm thick and 15mm wide are fitted on the top and reverse surfaces of recording magnets 11a and 11b and projected toward the recording medium. Consequently, the density of magnetic flux atop the electrode 8 is increased to 800 gauss. Therefore, a clear, fog-free toner image is formed on the recording medium.
