Abstract:
To provide a small image reproducing apparatus capable of silencing the noise of a cooling fan by using a phase inversion sound of the noise sound of the cooling fan.
The apparatus comprises a fan 11 provided to cool a light source, a speaker 19 for outputting a sound, a reverse phase generating unit 14 for generating a sound wave having a phase opposite to the sound wave of the noise generated in the fan 11, and a control means 13 for controlling the unit 14 to cause the speaker 19 to output a reverse phase sound for canceling the noise generated by the fan 11.
