To reduce a contaminated area more efficiently.SOLUTION: An image restoration device includes an acquisition processing unit for acquiring a captured image obtained by an imaging unit for capturing a situation around a vehicle, and a restoration processing unit for outputting a restoration image corresponding to the captured image acquired by the acquisition processing unit based on a restoration model previously trained by machine learning so as to output the restored image as a captured image whose contamination area is reduced at a different degree according to a position in the captured image in response to an input of the captured image when the captured image includes the contamination area caused by contamination of an optical system of the imaging unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
