Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an image sensor capable of reliably detecting a traveling object even when there are regions whose characteristics are different in a reference image.
SOLUTION: In analyzing a changing region 7 obtained by comparing a reference image B-1 with a current image B-2 obtained by photographing a monitor region, the reference image is divided according to regional characteristics, and a feature value as a traveling object is calculated for each divided region 8 and 9. Thus, it is possible to obtain a proper analysis result even in the changing region where the regions whose feature values are different are united.
