Abstract:
PURPOSE:To output a video output signal in terms of a digital signal and to make the storage time of each picture element identical in the timing by connecting the output of each comparator provided at every picture element to the shift register of parallel-in and serial-out. CONSTITUTION:A comparator 102 is provided at every picture element 101 and the output of each comparator 102 is connected to a shift register 103 of parallel-in and serial-out. Thus, the output of each picture element stored in the same timing is subjected to binarization or multivalue processing by each comparator 102 in the same timing, converted into a digital signal and inputted to a shift register 103 as a parallel signal. Then the video signal inputted in parallel is subjected to serial shift to obtain a time series digital video signal from the serial-out terminal of the shift register 103. Thus, a video output signal is outputted as a digital signal and the storage time of each picture element is made identical in the timing.
