Abstract:
To provide an image transfer sheet which can easily produce a three-dimensional image on various kinds of articles.
This image transfer sheet comprises an adhesive image layer 3 formed on a protecting layer 2 applied to the surface of a base material 1, wherein the adhesive image layer 3 and the protecting layer 2 being transferred to a transfer surface in one piece. The adhesive image layer 3 is formed by expanding an ink containing a coloring agent, a foaming agent and a pressure-sensitive adhesive. For the foaming agent, a thermal foaming agent which expands by heat can be used. In addition, the adhesive image layer 3 can be formed by expanding the ink stuck to the surface of the protecting layer 2 by an inkjet recording process.
