An image transmission apparatus is provided with a pixel scan means for scanning each of pixels in an Hilbert scanning order regarding pixel information with respect to an image consisting of pixels having pixel information represented by bit strings formed by arranging the logical values 0, 1, and an image transmission means for serially inputting the pixel information of the pixels scanned by the pixel scan means, coding two pieces of pixel information in which the successively inputted values have the difference value by only 1 so that humming distance between each bit string is 1, and transmitting the coded data to buses consisting of signal lines corresponding to each bit thereof.
