Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately detect an amount of motion of a subject in a screen in an image tremor correction correcting an image tremor of the subject.SOLUTION: An imaging system, which comprises angular velocity sensors 111 and 171 that detect tremor detection, is configured to control driving of a shift lens group 104 on the basis of a tremor detection signal. A motion vector detection unit 151 is configured to detect a motion vector from a plurality of photographing images. A distance acquisition unit 181 is configured to acquire distance information related to the photographing image. A camera control unit 143 is configured to: acquire the tremor detection signal and motion vector; determine a subject using a detection value of the motion vector in a proximity direction based on the distance direction; and calculate an angular velocity of the subject. A panning control unit 122 of a lens control unit 112 is configured to: conduct driving control of the shift lens group 104, using an angular velocity detection signal having offset eliminated, and an angular velocity of the subject acquired from the camera control unit 143; and thereby conduct control of assisting panning.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
