Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record a moving image with continuity between frames by shortening the period of a frame stoppage even in occurrence of the frame stop during HDR composition of the moving image.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: imaging means which repeats capturing plural frames with different exposures; composition means which generates one composite frame by composing the plural frames captured with different exposures; determination means which determines whether or not the frames include unusable frame that cannot be used for the composite frame; and control means, which when the unusable frame is included, controls the composition means to perform first processing of generating the composite frame by using a usable frame in the neighborhood of the unusable frame.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
