Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus capable of smooth LV display while suppressing deterioration of visibility even if LV images cannot be photographed by still image photographing.SOLUTION: When an instruction to photograph a still image is detected while live-view display is being executed, the imaging apparatus causes an image element to give priority to photographing a still image. In addition, the imaging apparatus repeatedly displays the same image for a period when the live-view display cannot be updated due to the photographing of a still image. In this case, the imaging apparatus reduces the brightness of the image to be repeatedly displayed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
