The imaging apparatus comprises a photographing means for photographing an object image; a detection means for detecting the photographic environment; a setting means for setting the photographic parameters of the photographing means, on the basis of the photographic environment detected by the detection means; a display means for displaying an image photographed by the photographing means; a recording means for adding the photographic environment and the photographic parameters to the image photographed by the photographing means and recording it; a selection means for selecting a failure image from among the images displayed at the display means; and a correction means for extracting the photographic parameters which caused failure, from the photographic environment of the failure image and correcting it.
