Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus in which occurrence of a trouble due to flexure of a image reading section can be prevented.
A sheet on which an image is formed is discharged into a space 406 provided between a section 30 for reading out the image of a document D and a section 40 for forming an image based on image information and the sheet discharged into the space 406 is taken out from an opening made at a part of the space 406. When flexure of the image reading section 30 is detected based on a signal from means 331 for detecting flexure at a part facing the opening of the image reading section 30, a control means controls an alarm means to alarm occurrence of flexure at the image reading section 30.
