Abstract:
To suppress a temperature rise of an apparatus without an excess cost.
An imaging apparatus comprises: an external power source detecting means for detecting the connection of an external power source; a flashing unit imaging deciding means for deciding whether a flashing unit is used or not; a light emitting times counting means for counting light emitting times by the flashing unit; and a control means for controlling a time for inhibiting the release of imaging in response to the light emitting times of the flashing unit counted by the counting means, when the connection of the external power source is detected by the detecting means and the deciding means decides the imaging of the flashing unit.
