Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus which reduces memory usage when being made into hardware in generating a high resolution image by synthesizing images imaged by using a plurality of imaging systems.
The imaging apparatus comprises at least three imaging systems 101,104,and 107 having optical systems 102,105,and 108 and imaging devices 103,106, and 109. The imaging systems are disposed in an arrangement direction of pixels of the imaging devices and a subject positioned within an imaging distance of a predetermined range is imaged by any other imaging system with a sampling phase in the arrangement direction sifted by 0.2 to 0.8 pixel against an imaged image of a first imaging system.
