Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily make face recognition a success by photographing the image for recognition of a photographer at the timing where the front face of the photographer is easily photographed by using the behavior of a user.SOLUTION: In an imaging apparatus 100 which includes a main camera 101 imaging a main object, a sub camera 102 photographing the photographer, a movable display device 103 displaying a photographed video, and a recognition part 104 performing the face recognition with respect to the image for the face recognition of the photographed photographer and in which the sub camera 102 is arranged in the movable display device 103, a CPU 105 performing the control of the imaging apparatus 100 controls the sub camera 102, so as to photograph the image for the face recognition of the photographer by the sub camera 102, after the imaging apparatus 100 is started up and before predetermined display is performed on the movable display device 103.
