PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent decrease in self-purification effect due to a photocatalyst.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: a first lens 3A whose surface is formed with a photocatalyst film; an imaging element 11 for taking an image formed by the first lens 3A; an ultraviolet light LED 21 that is housed in a camera housing 2 for holding the first lens 3A and emits ultraviolet light radiated to the first lens 3A; and a first light guide part 8 for guiding the ultraviolet light emitted by the ultraviolet light LED 21 to the back surface of the first lens 3A.
