Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus which detects multiple desired subjects autonomously, and automatically shooting an appropriate image where these subjects are arranged in the same field angle without overlapping.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes imaging means 100, a movement mechanism capable of autonomous movement, means for calculating the distance to a target object in a certain area or more of the captured image surface obtained by the imaging means, subject recognition means for detecting a subject on the basis of specific data in the image data obtained by the imaging means, imaging target determination means for determining one or more imaging target subjects, imaging target area determination means for determining the areas on respective imaging surfaces of one or more imaging target subjects 301-304, and means for determining the required imaging subject area of the imaging subject area. An imaging optimum position 702 on a three-dimensional space where the required imaging subject areas of respective imaging subjects do not overlap is calculated by using the distance detection means, and the results of the required imaging subject areas, and imaging operation is performed by moving to that position autonomously.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
