To provide an imaging apparatus capable of easily photographing a stereoscopically viewable image (with a small processing load and a small user load).SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is the imaging apparatus including a plurality of optical systems for converging external light to an imaging sensor, distance detection means for detecting a subject distance, and notification means for giving a notification of information.
