Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus capable of properly controlling the removal of foreign matter from the surface of the imaging unit while easily switching between the using state and the out-of-using state of an optical filter.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus (100) includes: an image sensor (121); an optical filter (160); an optical member (122) placed between the image sensor and the optical filter; a vibrating unit (124) for vibrating the optical member; and a control unit (130) that controls the vibrating unit. The optical filter is capable of moving between a first position where the same is inserted in the imaging range (190) and a second position where the same is retreated from the imaging range. The control unit changes the control between when the optical filter is in the first position and when the same is in the second position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18
