To miniaturize an imaging device by miniaturizing an electrical connection between a solid state imaging device and a substrate by a simple structure.

In the imaging 15 for an endoscope, a flexible lead 13 extended from at least one side of a solid state imaging device 12 is connected electrically with the connection land 21 of a circuit board 30, bent toward the outline center side of the solid imaging device 12 or a signal cable 20 whereby the solid state imaging device 12 and the circuit board 30 can be connected without using the other connecting member, and the connection between the solid state imaging device 12 and the circuit board 30 and the signal cable 20 can be miniaturized, and the whole imaging device can be miniaturized.
