Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focus position detection device that can improve detection accuracy upon detecting a focus position using a phase difference detection method.SOLUTION: A focus position detection device is configured to: as to each shift-amount calculation area within a measurement area set in an image sensor 21 of an imaging unit 2, calculate an amount of local shift between a first sub image to be created by a plurality of first pixels and a second sub image to be created by a plurality of second pixels and degree of reliability of the amount thereof; and correct the degree of reliability on the basis of a degree of inclusion of a component included in an image of a subject as to the shift-amount calculation area, and finer than an interval between adjacent two first pixels or an interval between adjacent two second pixels. Then, the focus position detection device is configured to calculate a representative value expressing a distance between a focus position by an optical system 22 of the imaging unit 2 and the image sensor 21 so that the higher the corrected degree of reliability is, the greater an influence of the amount of local shift of the shift-amount calculation area is.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
