Abstract:
To provide an imaging device with which it is possible to easily catch even a very small subject precisely at a center position.SOLUTION: An image device 1 for imaging a subject M by being pressed against the subject M comprises a camera body 10, a lens unit 20 provided in the camera body 10, a cover member 24 provided at the tip of the lens unit 20, and contact detection means for detecting contact between the cover member 24 and the subject M. In a first state where the cover member 24 is apart from the subject M, the focus of the camera body 10 is automatically adjusted so that the subject M apart is in focus; in a second state where the cover member 24 is determined by the contact detection means to be in contact with the subject M, the focus of the camera body 10 is automatically adjusted so that the subject M in contact with the cover member 24 is in focus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
