An imaging device of the present invention photographs a plurality of still images of a subject, temporarily stores the plurality of photographed images, and extracts comparison point images for causing a user to determine desired photographed images from the temporarily stored photographed images. The imaging device further displays the extracted comparison point images side by side in an enlarged state, and stores, in a storage device, only the photographed images selected by the user among the plurality of photographed images.
