Abstract:
To provide a technique materializing reduction of the possibility that unintended processing is performed in self-photographing.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus according to the present invention comprises: reception means that can receive an operation to a rotary member provided on a lens part side; processing means that performs an allocated function according to the operation to the rotary member; and control means performing control in such a way that the allocated function is not performed even when the operation to the rotary member is performed by a first operation amount in a case of a first state in which a photographer is a subject, and the allocated function is performed when the operation to the rotary member is performed in the first operation amount in a case of a second state being different from the first state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
