To easily obtain a desired image when photographing by a mobile robot.
An image processing/audio processing sensor detects a person and a robot comes close to the human figure. Personal data are registered in a management server 22. A user transmits a photographing request signal from a portable terminal device 14 to collate the request with the registered data to determine the propriety of photographing. If photographing is permitted, the robot 1 transmits an image photographed by a camera 2 to the server 22 and the like. At the time of photographing, the robot moves itself for framing processing, and further instructs the user to correct his/her standing point. Since a corrected photographed image can be obtained in this way, a time and effort for minutely adjusting by a photographing requester while looking at a screen can be omitted, and preferable photographing by the mobile robot can be easily performed. Also, for example, by transmitting the photographed image to a server to store the image, a photographing requester can access the server later to freely obtain or print the photographed image.
