Abstract:
To provide an imaging device protection mechanism and a geological investigation device which, when a probe reaches the bottom of a hole or abuts on a large rock, can determines such a fact and stops measurement.SOLUTION: An imaging device protection mechanism includes: a fixing part 21 fixed to a tip surface 12b of a probe 12; a cylindrical outer cylindrical part 22 fitted to the probe 12 so that the inner peripheral surface 22a is brought into sliding contact with the outer peripheral surface 12c of the probe 12 and the outer peripheral surface 21a of the fixing part 21; a lid part 23 fixed to the outer cylindrical part 22 so as to close an opening portion of the tip; and an elastic body 26 whose one end is fixed to the fixing part 21 and other end is fixed to the lid part 23 and which is expandable and contractible in the extending direction of the probe 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
