Abstract:
To reduce a deviation of an angle of view by a shift drive of a camera serving as a reference in photographing an overlapping area by a plurality of cameras.SOLUTION: An imaging device has: a first imaging unit that is movable on a guidance part; a second imaging unit that is movable on the guidance part; a panning mechanism; a zoom mechanism; a shift mechanism; and a control unit. The control unit is configured to: when photographing an area overlapping with a photographing area of the first imaging unit by the second imaging unit at zoom magnification different from the first imaging unit, a shift position of the second imaging unit, determine whether to need a change of the shift position of the first imaging unit on the basis of the shift position of the first imaging unit, a panning angle of the first imaging unit, the shift position of the second imaging unit, and a movable range on the guidance part of the second imaging unit; and, when the change of the shift position is performed, determine zoom positions of a zoom lens of the first imaging unit and a zoom lens of the second imaging unit on the basis of a comparison result of the zoom magnification of the first imaging unit and the second imaging unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
