The imaging device includes: a first parallax changing means for changing parallax of two or more object images by applying inclination drive to a transparent board 103 provided in an optical system between a compound eye system and an imaging element; a second parallax changing means for changing parallax of two or more object images by shifting a read initiation pixel of two or more imaging elements; and a parallax compensating means for compensating the parallax so that each parallax of two or more objects becomes a prescribed amount by using one or both of the first parallax changing means and the second parallax changing means.
