Title:
IMAGING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005278038
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an ID identifying sensor for identifying a light source and an object which emit light of different wavelength.

A CMOS image sensor according to the invention comprises a pixel array portion in which a color filter is arranged at each pixel with a predetermined arrangement, and an computation control portion for conducting computation processing for a pixel signal read from the pixel array portion. In addition, the sensor is provided with a color judging means for reading selectively a pixel of a color filter having a specific color transparency and judging its signal strength during read-out of the pixel signal from the pixel array portion, a code decoding means for decoding a coded information included in the pixel signal from the pixel array portion, and a recognizing means for recognizing an object based on the color judgement result by the color judging means and the decoding result by the code decoding means.
